Northview Preschool Director
Sandy works as Northview’s Preschool Director. Since 1996, she has run and operated the preschool, which serves over 135 families and 185 children. Prior to working at Northview, Sandy was a homemaker and a part-time pre-school teacher. Sandy and her husband of 30 years, Scot, have three children. The family enjoys playing games when they all come together. Sandy also enjoys cooking and photography when she finds time for herself.
Owls 3 & Zebra 4 teacher
Jolie Anderson is the Owls 3 and Zebra 4 teacher at Northview Preschool. Singing and rhyming are her favorite activities in the classroom. In her free time, she’s a huge Purdue, Colts and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Butterflies 2 & Teddy Bear 1
Rachel teaches Butterflies 2 & Teddy Bear 1. She has a degree in Family and Children's Ministry. She enjoys reading books, camping, disc golf and spending time with family. Her favorite activity do to with her class is art.
Teddy Bears 2 & Zebra 3 teacher
Tammy Birch is the Teddy Bears 2 & Zebra 3 teacher at Northview Preschool. Circle time with the children is her favorite activity in the classroom. She enjoys gardening, reading, watching old movies and spending time with her four children.
Northview Preschool Assistant Director
Linda works as Northview’s Preschool Assistant Director. She handles tuition payments, orders supplies, and assists the director in the day-to-day running of the program. She started at Northview in 1995 as a teacher when her son attended the “Mothers Morning Out” program and the director asked her to assist in teaching a preschool class. Linda was a banker for 16 years and homemaker before coming to Northview. Linda and her husband have a son, daughter and grandson. Linda enjoys spending her free time with her family and watching her grandson, as well as gardening and crafting.
Zebra 1 & Owls 2 teacher
Marion Fisher is the Zebra 1 and Owls 2 teacher at Northview Preschool. She especially enjoys Letter Box time with the children in the classroom. You can find Marion spending time at country music concerts and playing euchre and Bunco in her free time.
Zebra 2 & Owls 1 teacher
Glenda Forbes is the Zebra 2 and Owls 1 teacher at Northview Preschool. Teaching her students letters and sounds is her favorite activity in the classroom. Glenda is a huge sports fan; she’s always cheering for the Colts and Iowa Hawkeyes.
Julianne is the music teacher at Northview Preschool. She has a BA in Music Education and is currently working on her Master's in Piano Pedagogy. She loves spending time with the kids, helping them to write and perform their own compositions. Julianne spends her free time with her husband and six children and as you can imagine, enjoys playing the piano.
Lambs 1 & Teddy Bears 2 teacher
Susan Gentry is the Lambs 1 & Teddy Bears 2 teacher at Northview Preschool. Her favorite activity in the classroom is anything that gets the kids messy, like arts and crafts time. When she’s not watching her kids play high school sports, she’s saving lots of money with her mad extreme couponing skills.
Butterflies 2 teacher
Kimberly teaches Butterflies 2. She has Youth Ministry degree from Moody Bible Institute. Her favorite thing to do in the classroom is reading to children. She is married to Scott and has three children. In her free time she enjoys exercising, baking and vacationing with her family.
Teddy Bear 3 & Zebra 3
Susan teaches our Teddy Bear 3 & Zebra 3 classes. Susan has a masters degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Special Education. In her spare time, she likes to garden, play with grandkids and attend IU football games. Reading books is her favorite activity to do with her class.
Preschool Teacher and Office Assistant
Gretchen serves as the Owls 3 preschool teacher, where she gets to watch students grow spiritually, academically, emotionally and physically. She also works in the preschool office as an assistant, which involves various roles like parent and teach communication, handbooks and policies. Gretchen ran an in-home daycare before coming to Northview. Gretchen and her husband, Troy, have three boys. In her free time, Gretchen can be found baking, cooking, traveling and doing home improvements with her husband of 20 years.
Teddy Bears 2 & 3 teacher
Sandy Howerton is the Teddy Bears 2 & 3 teacher at Northview Preschool. Her favorite part of the day with the kids is singing and dancing. Sandy loves to try new recipes and crafts on Pinterest and watch her son play baseball.
Mary Ann teaches our Lambs 2 class. Her favorite activity to do with her class is to cuddle with the babies. In her spare time, she loves scrapbooking and gardening.
Susan worked as a nurse for 47 years, with most of that time being in Pediatrics. She also travels to Africa every year on short-term missions trips. In her spare time, she loves gardening. Crafts is her favorite activity to do with her preschool class.

Lambs 1 & 2 teacher
Vicky Meldahl is the Lambs 1 and 2 teacher at Northview Preschool. Bubble time is her favorite time in the classroom. She also enjoys sharing with the children how much Jesus loves them. Her free time is spent reading the Bible and gardening or grabbing a cup of coffee with friends.
Butterflies 1 & 2 teacher
Beth Quigley is the Butterflies 1 & 2 teacher at Northview Preschool. The best part of her day at the school is when she gets to just have fun with the children and watch them grow. Beth enjoys working out, playing tennis and volunteering at church in her free time.
Zebra 1 & Owls 2 teacher
Lee Rhoton is the Zebras 1 and Owls 2 teacher at Northview Preschool. Science time is her favorite thing to do with the kids. Lee is a big fan of reading and the movie, “The Notebook.” Lee also values working at her church.
Owls 1 & Zebra 2 teacher
Diana Rouse is the Owls 1 & Zebra 2 teacher at Northview Preschool. Reading to the children is her favorite activity in the classroom. Her favorite book to read on her own time is the Bible, especially the book of Psalms. Diana also enjoys taking vacations to the beach, singing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
