At our Carmel Campus, we've intentionally created an atmosphere where you'll feel a connection with others and God!

We've got a casual, comfortable style, serve lots of coffee and have an incredible team of volunteers ready to welcome you. You can't miss our 81-acre Carmel Campus at the top of the hill at Main Street and Hazel Dell Parkway. Our broadcast campus hosts a cross-country course, 18-hole disc golf course and Capstone Coffee Shop. Our weekend services feature modern, contemporary worship, teaching and opportunities to learn more about God. Throughout the week there are opportunities for you to get involved in groups, events and activities. We hope to see you soon!

Families

Creating lasting relationships with God through His Word.

Kids

Kids

In Northview Kids, our goal is to make sure every child is known. We want to connect children and families in lasting relationships with God through His Word and age-appropriate services. We offer programs for children ages birth through fourth grade at all campuses for every Weekend Service.

Where do I go on my first time to Northview?

When you arrive on campus for your first visit, please stop by our first-time guest information station. We have cheerful greeters ready to meet your family and quickly get all the necessary information to get your child registered for Northview Kids.

What’s the check-in process like?

When you arrive at Northview, you can sign in at any check-in computer located in the Lobby or in the Northview Kids wing. Simply search by your last name and then click on your family. Select the name of your child, then the Northview Kids logo, to be sure your child gets assigned to his or her correct classroom. You and your child will receive nametags and an ID number tag. Your child will not be released from his or her classroom until we receive the matching ID number tag back from you at pickup.

Is the environment safe?

All Northview Kids entrances are locked during service and only Staff or Team Members are allowed in the space during service. Our volunteers must complete a volunteer application, pass a background check and submit references. For your child's safety, our volunteers never serve alone. Our rooms have open layouts so children are always in view, no matter where they are.

What if Northview Kids needs to contact me during the service?

During check-in, we will either get your cell phone number, or your child’s ID number will flash on our Auditorium screens. Trust us, we can catch your attention.

Is the curriculum the same for all services?

Yes. It is our desire to provide a creative, safe and exciting experience for every child. Having consistent programming at each service helps us reach that goal and gives our volunteers a common focus, vision and passion.

GraceWorks Special Needs Ministry ministers to families at Northview who have children with special needs or who are medically fragile. Our mission is to teach kids with special needs about Jesus, to create an environment where all children are accepted and loved, and to develop relationships with children with special needs and their families.

At the Carmel Campus, we have both an inclusion ministry and a sensory room for children who are better served in an environment modified to meet their specific needs.

We offer an inclusion ministry at all of our campuses. Children can be paired with a buddy or “GraceGiver” and given extra support in their typical classrooms during weekend services.

If your child would benefit from being served by this ministry, we'd love to hear from you.

We realize that every week matters in the life of our kids. That’s why we have developed a family plan to help you make the most of each moment; we call this the Family Framework. The Family Framework is filled with activities and events for families with children ages birth through 18. Learn more about Family Framework.

Let us know you are coming here!

Students

Students

5-6th grade students meet in the Student Center on Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. and Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. during the weekend services.

7-12th grade students meet on Sundays from 5:00-8:30 p.m.

7-8th grade students are to be dropped off at the Student Center and picked up at the West Entrance of the main building.

9-12 grade students are to be dropped off at the West Entrance of the main building and picked up at the Student Center.

5th—6th-grade:  There is fun, worship, teaching and a chance to meet new people. Students are placed in a Life Group based on their grade and gender. Plus, we have food! Hope to see you there!

7th—8th-grade: Northview Students is committed to creating fun, upbeat environments for 7th-8th graders in large-group services and Life Groups, where students find community with friends their own age.

9th—12th-grade: Each student will experience a fun environment, engage in worship, listen to a message specifically geared towards students, and join a group of other students to learn more about God. We don’t believe church should be boring, and we try to prove that each week. You won’t want to miss Sunday nights!

Where does my student go for their first time?

Look for the Northview Students building on the southwest side of the property. Drop off your student there, and they’ll be welcomed well by adults and students who will make sure they’re assimilated to the environment with ease.

Is the curriculum the same for all services?

The curriculum is written by our staff of student pastors to fit the needs of our specific students who attend Northview Students. The same message is shared live at all services at all campuses.

What resources do you have for parenting?

Your campus student pastor is happy to meet with you to talk about your specific parenting needs. There is also a Family Resource Wall at every campus to support you in your parenting journey. The Family Framework is another way we support parents and families here at Northview.

What does a typical night look like?

We start off with free time used for group games and hanging with other students and volunteer adult leaders. Then we move into a large-group session with student-led worship and a lesson relevant to teenage life.

What does the cost for Life Groups go toward?

The cost goes toward small-group materials and food and supplies for the kickoff and year-end parties. A t-shirt is also included!

Do volunteers have a background check?

Yes, we run a background check on all volunteers who work with students and kids.

Who is teaching my student?

Meet our campus staff at the bottom of this page.

May I stay with my student during programming?

We’d love for you to volunteer as an adult leader! Click here to serve on the Northview Students Team.

Each week during the school year, small groups of 5th through 12th-grade students gather in host homes or at the campus. These groups become environments where students can openly discuss the issues they are facing with other teens in their own grade and same gender. Our goal for these small groups is to create a place where relationships can be established and deepened, but also where God’s truth can be proclaimed.

As we shift to a full life group model, we know there will be a lot of added expenses to do this ministry with excellence, including: curriculum costs, journals, training materials, student devotionals, giveaways, and giving each student a life group t-shirt. Would you please consider a $30 donation to help us offset the cost of these expenses? If you are willing and able please check the box during the registration process to make that donation.

Life Groups signups for this school year are now open.

Preschool

Preschool

At Northview Preschool, our goal is to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children learn and grow. In line with this goal, we provide a time for active play, imaginative play and learning through educational activities, curriculum and games.

We offer classes for children ages 3 months to 5 years. There are two teachers in our preschool rooms. We offer a preschool environment from toddler classes through pre-kindergarten classrooms.

The school utilizes the Christian-based A Beka academic curriculum. A Beka is a God-honoring curriculum that focuses on phonics and one-to-one correspondence. Spiritual development is encouraged with a Bible story. Teachers show Christ’s love to the children through praise, hugs, encouragement and positive interaction.

During the course of the day, children will have child-initiated playtime with puzzles, painting, writing manipulatives, riding toys, etc. In our structured time, the teachers will work on phonics and number skills utilizing songs, rhymes, games, worksheets and artwork. The children will also engage in a Bible story each day. Creativity is encouraged through singing, experimenting with rhythm instruments, painting, art crafts and collages.

Our classes meet September through May each school year from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. We follow the Carmel school calendar for school breaks, snow delays and snow days.

Class placement is determined by the child's age as of May 31 of the current school year.

Butterflies: 17 months to young 2's
