Alpha
The Alpha course consists of a series of discussions in a small group setting, addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith.

Alpha

Who is Jesus? How can I be sure of my faith? How does God guide us? What does the Holy Spirit do?

Have questions? Want answers? Alpha meets to address these and other topics in a non-threatening environment. Skeptical about God or Jesus? Alpha is for you!

You've attended church all your life? Alpha is for you, too! You wonder if there's more to life than meets the eye? Alpha is for you!

Come and join us for a meal, time to build relationships and discussion to help answer your faith-related questions.

Discipleship Walk
Join us for three days of life transformation through talks, group discussions, worship, entertainment and fellowship.

Discipleship Walk

Imagine replacing your busy, sometimes hectic life with three days of growing closer to God. Through talks, group discussions, worship and chapel times, entertainment and fellowship, you come away better understanding what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

The Discipleship Walk began at Northview in 1989, and since that time has continued to grow with both adult and youth weekends. The Discipleship Walk is designed for those who have made a commitment to Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

The Discipleship Walk strives to provide the setting where individuals can clearly see and understand God's love and in turn, grow in their responses to that great love. The first full day speaks to God reaching out to us. It's a reminder of God's longing for a relationship with us and of our responsibility to build a foundation for that relationship.

The second day explores both the challenges and the benefits of discipleship in today's world. It is ultimately a day of encouragement, and one in which the participants get to build relationships with each other and experience Christian community in tangible ways.

The third day centers upon preparing for discipleship in the world in which we live. Participants are sent back to where they came from with the desire, knowledge and tools necessary to make a difference in their world.

Marriage Oneness
If you desire a deeper connection in your marriage, this eight-week course will be a great starting point for you to go deeper and grow closer.

Marriage Oneness

We want to equip couples to grow in true intimacy, connection and purpose to experience closeness for a lifetime. Marriage Oneness starts this process through an eight-week course.

Couples will fill out a profile to evaluate and address their own oneness level. Each session will include a video portion, small group discussions and exercises to complete as a pair.

We hope you will be equipped in your marriage for closeness in seven key areas: communication, conflict resolution, money, spiritual beliefs, sexual intimacy, roles & responsibilties and family & friends.

We desire to foster a community of life-long learners. The courses we offer are designed to help you learn more about God’s truth for living and become more mature in your faith.

Courses are typically offered the same night every week for about six weeks in a row.

Courses are for adults and students grades 6–12. Childcare is provided for newborns to age two. Children ages three through fifth grade are encouraged to enroll in Northview University–Kids, offering the same spiritual enrichment for your kids.

Premarital mentoring
Marriage is a big step. Before you say, "I do," take some time to seek out the counsel of a mentor couple that is equipped to help guide you through discussions and questions.

Premarital mentoring

As you prepare for your big day, we can help you prepare for the rest of your married life. We pair engaged couples with a mentor couple. This mentor couple helps guide a six-week course, utilizing discussion and a book.

The books used may vary for each couple. Each couple is required to purchase the book.

SHAPE
If you ever wonder what gifts God has given you or how to use them to engage in your community, church and world, this is a great course to start that process.

SHAPE

SHAPE stands for Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experience.

In order to connect with God, church and community, it’s important to be aware of and utilize the unique gifts God has given us. The SHAPE Class will assist you in discovering, affirming or reconsidering how God has uniquely “shaped” you.

The purpose of the class is not only to help you discover, but to understand your God-given gifts and passions. The class will also help you identify your spiritual SHAPE as well as assist you in finding opportunities available through Northview to put your gifts and passions to use.
